FxPro Review for UAE Traders. Legit, Costs and Where It Falls Short
We wrote this after reading FxPro's July 2026 fee schedule and cross-checking licences on the FCA register. Short version: real broker, real Dubai office, not SCA-regulated, know that before you wire dirhams.
75%+ of retail investor accounts lose money trading CFDs.
Quick answer, is FxPro legit in the UAE?
FxPro is a legitimate international CFD broker (founded 2006) with FCA (509956) and CySEC (078/07) licences you can verify yourself. UAE residents are onboarded through CySEC or SCB entities, not under an SCA domestic licence. That split matters if you expect UAE conduct rules on every dispute.
What we actually checked
Licence numbers on the FCA Financial Services Register and CySEC public list. Minimums in FxPro's accounting FAQ (Standard: no fixed minimum via Wallet). Raw+ and Elite thresholds in the account-type pages. Swap-free wording in the Islamic product notes, including the bit about possible admin charges on long-held positions, not a blanket "zero cost forever".
We did not run a live slippage audit this month. Execution claims here come from published NDD marketing and third-party reviews, treat them as starting points, not guarantees.
Costs that bite UAE wallets
- Standard, spread-only; no fixed Wallet minimum, though cards and e-wallets often want ~$100 equivalent.
- Raw+, tighter raw-style pricing; plan on ~$1,000 to open comfortably; commission quoted around $3.50 per side per lot on cTrader (check your entity).
- Elite, $30,000 bar; irrelevant for most retail readers.
- Inactivity, $15/month after six months without trading activity (published July 2026).
- Neteller withdrawals. 2.6% broker-side exception; everything else $0 on FxPro's side.
Dirham deposits convert through your bank. FxPro accounts are USD/EUR/GBP base, not AED. That FX spread is easy to forget when comparing "cheap" brokers.
Where FxPro wins for Gulf traders
cTrader out of the box (Exness pushes MT4/MT5 harder). Swap-free overlay on Standard/Raw+ for Sharia-conscious accounts, request during onboarding, read the fee table. Physical Dubai desk at Office 1006, Rolex Tower, useful for KYC questions, useless as proof of SCA licensing.
Leverage up to 1:500 if your onboarding entity is SCB; CySEC/FCA retail routes cap at 1:30. Match entity to your risk tolerance before chasing headline ratios.
Honest weaknesses
No SCA licence, your regulator is Cyprus or Bahamas, not Abu Dhabi. Standard spreads are not the tightest in the market; scalpers often shop Raw+ or competitors. Islamic account is an overlay with published admin rules, not a religious ruling from us.

Account types and minimum deposit (UAE context)
Competitor pages often collapse everything into one "minimum deposit" headline. FxPro is messier and more accurate. Standard folds commission into the spread and has no fixed FxPro Wallet floor on published terms; cards and e-wallets still frequently enforce their own floor, often around $100. Raw+ targets tighter displayed pricing and typically needs roughly $1,000 to open comfortably.
Before you fund from an Emirates bank card, walk through account opening and deposits; to turn a transfer into position size, start with pips and lots.
FxPro review for UAE - regulation, costs, platforms (August 2026)
A useful fxpro review answers four questions fast: who regulates the entity you get, what you pay on Standard vs Raw+, which platforms open from UAE, and what breaks deposits or withdrawals. Trustpilot or Reddit threads are anecdotes - check the licence number yourself.
Regulation and trust
Public group licences include FCA, CySEC, FSCA and SCB. Searchers also ask fxpro review trustpilot and is fxpro legit. Legit as a long-running offshore group is not the same as "local retail licence in UAE". FxPro is not SCA-licensed in the UAE. Confirm the onboarding entity in Direct (often CySEC or SCB).
Fees competitors cover that thin pages skip
- Spreads on majors and gold - sample live, not a 2022 screenshot.
- Raw+ commission vs Standard all-in spread.
- Withdrawal fees and processing windows by method.
- Swap-free / Islamic overlay admin fees after grace periods where offered.
Platforms and how to open
MT4, MT5, cTrader and FxPro Edge cover most intents. Open path: Direct signup → KYC → note the entity → fund Wallet → allocate to a platform ticket. Empty charts after a deposit usually mean allocation was skipped.
| Checkpoint | What to verify |
|---|---|
| Entity | Name shown in Direct after KYC |
| Min deposit | Cashier method floor (often ~100 USD) |
| Cost model | Standard vs Raw+ vs cTrader commission |
| Withdraw | Same-name method preference + timing |
FxPro is not SCA-licensed in the UAE. Confirm the onboarding entity in Direct (often CySEC or SCB).
FAQ
Is FxPro a scam?
No evidence of that for a 2006 broker with public FCA/CySEC records. The real question is whether offshore entity rules fit your comfort level.
Minimum deposit in Dubai?
Standard: no fixed Wallet floor; payment methods often ~$100. Raw+: ~$1,000 typical. Elite: $30,000.
Islamic account?
Swap-free overlay available, see our Islamic guide. Confirm admin-fee rules in FxPro's policy.
